April Freebie!

Hello, all! It's time for the April freebie panel, and this panel features a recently released set--And Many More!  This panel has a tons of uses in it, so I hope you grab it and make good use of it! Take a peek at the panel...

I decided to keep my card this month REALLY simple. I didn't add any color to the image, but I DID add lots of color with embellishments and Radiant Rainbows papers! Here's the completed card...

Now, some info about the freebie. The print size of this panel is 3.75" x 5". There are just 3 rules about this, and future, freebie panels: 1) You may not sell any cards you make using this panel. 2) You may use this panel to enter the March 2017 MHKDesigns challenge only.  Entries in future challenges using this panel will be deleted. 3) You may NOT alter the panel in any way, including recoloring or cropping digitally.  This includes cropping the panel so that you may use the sentiment on other projects.  I'm hoping the honor system will work with these freebies so that I can continue to share them with you all!

Hi my sweet friends!

I am back again to deliver my inspirational project with you using MHKDesigns digital stamps. If you love fussy cutting and wish to try on simple and easy mixed media form of art work, these tags may give you some ideas.

I fussy cut some flowers from Get Well Flowers digital stamp and glued down on my completed textural background.

The "Stay Strong" quote is also used from this set.   

The other quote used below is printed from Blossoming digital stamp set.

I am really a quote lover and have found a lot of interesting quotes in beautiful fonts available at MHKDesigns Etsy shop.

April Release: Sea Creatures

Hello, friends!  Welcome to the April 2017 Release for the MHKDesigns Etsy Shop!  I have 5 fabulous  new sets to share this month and they cover MANY occasions!  I just know you will LOVE all the creations that my team and I have to share, as well!  Today's set is called...

And here is my card set~

After using Photoshop to create my card panels, I added some texture paste "bubbles", some stamping with bubble wrap, a few rhinestones, and some fun "water splash" enamel stickers. I used the hue settings for color variations again--SO easy and fun! This set is totally getting me in the mood for summer break! How about you?! I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments below! :)

MHKDesigner Inspiration - Dawn

Hello friends!

I'm here on this fabulous Monday with my Designer Inspiration for MHKDesigns digital stamps and papers.  Here is my card for today!

Both the image and sentiment is from the "Birdcage Silhouettes" stamp set.

MHKDesigner Inspiration: Tasha

Hi everyone, Tasha here with my April designer project for MHKDesigns digital stamps and papers. For my project, I created a Clean & Simple card using the Get Well Flowers digital stamp set.

To create this card, I printed one of the floral images out in purple and layered clear glitter over it. I colored the petals with light pink and purple markers to add more detail. 

Layers of metallic purple and purple glitter paper were used to coordinate with the flower color and add shimmer. I really enjoyed working with various shades of one color!

The sentiment selected was "Get Well Soon" and it was printed in a dark purple font color. I cut the ends to create a banner and layered it across the printed image with foam tape.

Lastly, I added two sizes of pearl embellishments and created a base from textured pastel purple paper to complete the design.
