April Release: And Many More

Hello, friends!  Welcome to the April 2017 Release for the MHKDesigns Etsy Shop!  I have 5 fabulous  new sets to share this month and they cover MANY occasions!  I just know you will LOVE all the creations that my team and I have to share, as well!  Today's set is called...

And here is my card~

I chose to create a masculine card with this set--it's so versatile! This is a MUST have set for all your birthday card needs! I colored the image from the And Many More set with colored pencils and added an embellishment border between the image ans sentiment. The card base is made from paper from the Stars & Stripes digital paper pack. Hope you love it! I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments below! :)

MHKDesigner Inspiration: Judy

Hello there! 

It's Judy here sharing my inspiration for the month!

A few months back I created a note card set using

Blossoming.

So for my project this month I

decided to expand on that set

creating a post it note book,

a tag

and a gift bag.

I added the note card set from before in the photo below. 

I thought this set would be nice for gift giving 

for Mother's Day, Birthday, Thank You or Just Because!

April Challenge

Hi, friends!  Happy April!  Before we get started with this month's challenge, I wanted to remind your that April is a release month!  Our posts for the release will always be on the 5th, 10th, 15th, 20th, and 25th on release months (February, April, June, August, and October), and I hope to be able to share a video like this each month!

Our challenge runs from the 1st of the month until the last day of the month. Each month we will always have a photo inspiration so that anyone can play along, but if you use products from the MHKDesigns store, you can link up ANYTHING!  If you didn't catch it, yesterday I gave away a FREEBIE card front that you can use to play along this month, as well!

March Freebie!

Hello, all! It's time for the March freebie panel, and this panel features a favorite set of mine--Realistic Roses!  I decided to color the sentiment purple so that you could use this panel to create something for April's challenge, so make sure to join us! Take a peek at the panel...

I decided to stick with the purple theme and watercolor my roses using ink and gel pen. I added some faux stitching, rhinestones, and striped ribbon as my only embellishments. Here's the completed card...

Now, some info about the freebie. The print size of this panel is 3.75" x 5". There are just 3 rules about this, and future, freebie panels: 1) You may not sell any cards you make using this panel. 2) You may use this panel to enter the March 2017 MHKDesigns challenge only.  Entries in future challenges using this panel will be deleted. 3) You may NOT alter the panel in any way, including recoloring or cropping digitally.  This includes cropping the panel so that you may use the sentiment on other projects.  I'm hoping the honor system will work with these freebies so that I can continue to share them with you all!

Hello friends! 

I am back again to share my inspirational card made for MHKDesigns using her fabulous digital stamps.

Here is my clean and simple black and white card.

The pretty blooms, Get Well Flowers were printed and neatly adhered on the card.

The sentiment on the top left is from Lovely Ladies digital stamp set.

Don't they look gorgeous?
And here's a little close up.

I sure hope you will find that less is more can be very eye catching too.
