MHKDesigner Inspiration: KATIE SKIFF

Hi friends!
It's Katie here to share s fun card for you! I wanted to color this image from the Beachy Keen stamp set.   It's such a fun image that I wanted to make look very realistic and reminiscent of an old photograph.    So when I dug through my stash and found these photo corners, I was so happy!!

I also used the papers from Country Farm.  The colors work for the September Challenge that is only on for a couple more days!!

You can find the supplies I used on the MHKDesigns Etsy Store.  Or click on the images below!

MHK Designer Inspiration - Rocky

If you're looking for something simple to make for Halloween here's an idea for you. All you need for this is a battery tea light, some double sided tape, a pair of scissors and MHK Designs Trick or Treat paper set.
The papers were printed on to thin card, to find out how much you need wrap it around the tea light and allow an overlap for sticking together. Fold your card in half so the fold runs around the light, then cut at regular intervals to around an inch from the edge.
Put double sided tape around your tea light and along one side of your paper. Wrap the paper around the light and stick, then stick the edges together to form a cylinder, squash down slightly to open up the slits.
Add a small strip of card for the handle at the top and the side decoration. These little pumpkins are die cut after printing images from Flight By Night and Spooky, you don't have to have a die cut machine as you could draw around a cookie cutter and cut out.
This would be a great project to make with young children ready for Halloween and with battery tea lights it's perfectly safe too.

MHK Designers Post: Julie

Happy Sunday, everyone!  Julie here today, wishing you a sunny day!
I love sunflowers.  I think they speak autumn like no other flower.  When I found this digital stamp set in the MHKDesigns Etsy store, I just knew I had to color it up!

This card was created using the Stitched Sunflower Digital Stamp set, colored with Copic markers.  The sentiment is also from the set.
Papers for this card are also from the MHKDesigns Etsy Shop.  They're Autumnal Accents Digital Papers.  Beautiful, aren't they?

Have you joined the MHK Challenge yet?  There's still a few days to enter, and you could win some amazing digital sets for yourself, so link up!

MHKDesigner Inspiration: Lilian

Hello, Kraftie Friends!!!

Lilian here today...
Here's my card, using Beautiful Bottles digital stamp set:

I cut an overlay using my Cricut and adhered on card base. I printed and cut out a bottle from Beautiful Bottles, adhered it on card and trimmed off excess. I printed the sentiment from Beautiful Bottles, added a black mat and adhered on card.
I blended some Brilliance Pearlescent Purple ink pad using a mini round blender tool, then added some pearls.

Don't forget to take a look at the MHKDesigns Etsy Shop!
Thanks for stopping by!

MHKDesigner Inspiration: Judy

Hello all!
It's Judy here
sharing my inspiration project for October.

I used the
and altered a composition book cover.

I printed the globe image and colored over the
black areas with a brown pencil color
to coordinate with the papers I chose to use.

My papers are from Craft Smith's Seaglass stack.
I created a collage with the globe image and
some pieces from a Paperwishes Stolen Moments download.

This is a great set for any occasion.
It can work for masculine or feminine projects.

I hope you'll check
out all the other sets available at
And, we would love for you to join in with
our current challenge where you can find
a lot more inspiration from the design team.

Until next time
Happy Crafting!
