MHKDesigner Inspiration - Dawn

Hello friends!

It's Dawn here on this fabulous Friday with my Designer Inspiration for MHKDesigns digital stamps and papers.  Here is my card for today!

Both the image and sentiment is from the "Perfect Poppies" stamp set.

MHK Designer Inspiration - Rocky

     Today's designer inspiration is a simple make that just had to be a poppy design, the sentiment completes it.
     The backing paper is from World Traveler, printed as a watermark, so that it's faded, and in black and white to achieve a grey look. The letter paper was then over printed with a poppy taken from Perfect Poppies and the sentiment from Thankful Thoughts.
     The poppy is coloured with alcohol markers in shades of red and green with bronze foil added to the centre to give just a little lift to the design.
     Once finished the paper was stuck on to a black card die cut tag leaving a small border all the way around, with the addition of red ribbon the tag is complete.

MHKD Designer Inspiration: Asha

Hello friends! Today I want to share with you a card with a heartfelt sentiment, featuring a lovely floral spray from the Perfect Poppies digi set. I've paired this image with the recently released French  Country digital paper pack.

For a soft feminine look I framed the image with lace and lined it with a used dryer sheet before mounting the image on some foam tape. I coloured the flowers with polychromos and finished the design with a few tiny bling and some Wink of Stella shimmer.

MHKDesigner Inspiration: Mynn Kitchen

Happy Monday, all!  It's my day to post on the MHKDesigns blog using products from the MHKDesigns Etsy shop.  I chose to make a "thinking of you" or sympathy card.  Take a peek...

The sentiment, from the Perfect Poppies set, was printed onto vellum and then added to a panel prepped with paper from the Damsel in Distress pack.  I added some cardstock as a border, then layered on glittery punched and enamel hearts.

I added my focal panel to a card base prepped with glittery purple paper, to match the hearts, and a half doily topped with ribbon.  I think this turned out pretty well--and I think it will be able to be mailed at a moment's notice, too!  What do you think?  I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!
