MHKDesigner Inspiration: Tasha

Hi everyone, Tasha here with my May designer project for MHKDesigns digital stamps and papers. For my project, I created a lovely floral card with the Open Bloom digital stamp set.

 The flower image was printed in black and colored in shades of blue. I layered clear glitter over the petals and leaves to give them tons of shimmer. I also adhered clear enamel dots to the center of both flowers; the glossy finish gives a water-like look.

This wonderful set includes several sentiments, but I thought this one was perfect for a year-round card. I printed it out in an ombre font color. The plum and gold color combo looks awesome and really coordinates well with the blue.

To complete this design, I layered the card on a pearl navy paper and teal floral pattern paper. I think the dark blue is a great mat color and the teal paper adds more pops of color. Lastly, I created an olive green card base from heavy card stock and embellished with white gel pen.

MHKD Designer Inspiration : SathyaSankaran

Hi Friends!!

This is Sathya, and this is my last DT inspiration at MHKDesigns. I had a great year working with the Awesome digisets and Wonderful DT team. Thanks much for this opportunity, Mynn. I learnt a lot from my fellow DTs and this team.

I was asked to share my fave project. As i couldn't pull out just one project out of all my MHKD DT inspirations, i made a collage using my fave digisets.

I absolutely enjoyed working with these Digi sets.

Each card here is SO close to my heart.

Designer Inspiration - Rocky

I would like to share with you just two of my favourite projects from 2016.

Using Open Bloom & Butterfly Wisdom

      This one makes use of printing on acetate as well as card and using just part of an image. MHK Designs digi stamps are so versatile, you can do almost anything with them, like decorating candles.

Hi Friends!

Its SathyaSankaran here, with this month's Designer Inspiration, using two of my fave digisets from MHKdesigns Etsy shop.

• On a A2 sized black card base, mounted the sentiment as focal element, from Blossoming digiset.
• The sentiment banner is distressed with wildhoney and barn door distress inks.
• The flowers from Open Bloom digiset is colored, fussy cut and mounted on card around the sentiment.
• Few orange enamel dots are added as accents.

MHKDesigner Inspiration: Donna

 Donna here with my monthly inspiration post for MHKDesigns:

 

I used Open Bloom Digital set.  I printed both the saying and flower on vellum so I could emboss them in silver.  To emboss you must have your embossing powder ready sprinkle on your vellum immediately  after printing.  I then layered the vellum over a deep peach color to get the look I wanted.  The silver background was done with an embossing folder.

MHKDesigner Inspiration: Donna

Hello!  It's Donna here with my September Inspiration Post for MHKDesigns!

I used Open Blooms digital set. I made my background with Brusho's. and then  fussy out 3 of each flower for layering, colored with Copics, glittered the flower centers with Doodle Bug Designs Sugar Coating metallic glitter and die cut the center of my card front with Standard Circles large.   I positioned my sentiment from the same set to be centered in my circle. This card will go in the mail to someone who needs a boost. I think this is such an uplifting saying.

Hi Friends!!

This is Sathya here today with Monthly Inspiration using Butterfly elements and Butterfly Wisdom Digi set. If you are following my Blog, then you would know how much i love butterfly digi sets.

Love to highlight the sentiment this time with my favorite Butterflies.

Sponged the sentiment banner with Mustard seed, Wildhoney Distress inks. Butterfly from Butterfly wisdom is colored using Fabercastell bicolor pencils and fussy cut. These are mounted on a ivory base cardstock, which is sponged at one of the edge with Rusty hinge distress ink.

A flower from Open Bloom set is used here, which is colored, fussy cut, mounted near the sentiment.

This finishes off the card.

MHKDesigner inspiration: Michele

Hello Everyone!

Summertime is here, and it's a happy and hopeful time! We have been wishing and praying for warm summer blessings for our friends and family all summer long! Today, I am celebrating summer with this pretty floral inspiration card using the digital release, Open Bloom!

I started with a watercolor background, and added a few of my favorite die cuts. I love the cheerful quote from Lady Bird Johnson too!

Open Bloom features 3 touching sentiments and a gorgeous image too!

MHKDesigner Inspiration - Jessica

Hello friends!

It's Designer Jess here with my June Designer Inspiration!  I decided to work with my fave from the new release - Open Bloom.

Here is what I created:

I printed off the flower in 2 different sizes and colored them with watercolor crayons.  Then, I fussy cut each flower out and covered them with clear embossing powder.  I used some Embellishment Mousse to accent the background and the sentiment.
