MHKDesigner Inspiration: Monica

Hi everyone. It's Monica from Taylormadecards4u. I am here today with my Designer inspiration for MHKDesigns. I am using an image from a beautiful set called Flutter and Fly

This was a very easy card to put together, but with a beautiful result. The bird and egg sticker I had in my stash and I added a fun sentiment from a Tim Holtz sticker set I had.

This is my last Designer Inspiration post for MHKDesigns. I hope that I have in some way inspired you with my creations and I have enjoyed working with Mynn's digital images.

MHK Designer Inspiration - Monica

Hi everyone it's Monica from Taylormadecards4u. I am here today with my Designer inspiration for MHK Designs. I am using one of my favorite sets called "The Write Stuff".

Many people may not know that not only am I am paper crafter, but I sew as well. My sewing machine has been put away for awhile, but recently I have been inspired to bring it out of the closet and start incorporating my sewing into my paper crafting.

I was at a local fabric shop recently as saw this cute fabric. I just couldn't resist it as I know I had the perfect digital images to create a note card set.  I think they are a pretty cute pair, what do you think?

MHKDesigner Inspiration - Monica

Hi everyone and welcome to my Designer inspiration for the month of April.

Today I am sharing with you an image from one of the Masculine sections over at MHKDesigns called Dear Dad. There are several great images and sentiments in this set that work great for Father's Day.

It is available over at the MHKDesigns Etsy shop along with many other wonderful sets.

I wanted to go with a Retro grunge feel to this card. After I colored in the images, I used a stitch die cut to frame my image. I then stamped the a few grungy dots on various parts of the card.

I adhered the framed image to some polka dot paper and added some washi tape. I Outlined the washi tape using a distress crayon - Black Soot.

MHK Designer Inspiration - Monica

Hi everyone and welcome to my Designer inspiration for MHKDesigns.

Today I am sharing with you an image from one of the Easter sets over at MHKDesigns called Bunny Love.

It is available over at the MHKDesigns Etsy shop along with many other wonderful sets.

This card was so simple to make and I was able to play with some of my new "magicals" and some resist paper to create the background. Magicals are a powder substance that when sprayed with water create fun vibrant colors.

I printed my sentiment onto some vellum paper so that the color would still show through. I love the way this turned out. The simplicity of the white image really goes well with the colorful background.

Hi everyone and welcome to my Designer inspiration for MHKDesigns.

The Write Stuff
This card was so simple to make and I just love the way it turned out. I had some extra rub ons, so I used them to create my background.  I then matted my background onto some black card stock.

I used the typewriter and sentiment as my focal point and popped it up using some foam dots.

It is a very simple black and white card that was a lot of fun to create. I hope you like it.

MHKDesigner Inspiration: Monica

Hi everyone! Today I am here to share with you  my MHKDesigner inspiration post. I am new to the design team, but hope to bring you some Vintage inspiration every month on my designer spotlight.

The sentiment I am using is from the set The Write Stuff and is available in the  MHKDesigns Etsy Store.

Using Pic Monkey I imported the key and sentiment and printed it out on white card stock.  Using my copic colors I colored in the key and used a die cut to cut out two pieces of paper. I matted both pieces onto some black card stock using some metal brads and added some matching washi tape with keys. I also added some black and white twine.

I then matted my finished piece onto some white card stock.
