It's Judy here with my turn to share a little inspiration

using this month's New Release Set from

MHKDesigns!

Caring Crocus

I used a classic black and white color scheme

for my card and love the way it turned out.

I started with a 6.5 x 5 inch white card base.
I chose 2 coordinating  designer papers.
One of the papers was cut to 6 x 4.5 inches
and matted with a 6.25 x 4.75 inch piece of black card stock.
The other designer paper was cut to a smaller rectangular shape and matted.

The image was printed and die cut in a circle shape.
I adhered a black paper doily to the card and added the die cut image.
I printed one of the sentiments from the set and die cut.
This die cut was popped with foam tape.
A black satin ribbon was added to complete.

MHKDesigner Inspiration: Jessica

Hello friends!

It's Designer Jess here today to share my April  MHKDesigns Designer Inspiration card! I used the new release stamp set called "Caring Crocus" to create this card.

Here is the Handmade Card that I created:

This is another sweet little notecard size (about 4x4.5"). I printed off the digi and watercolored with Nuvo Aqua Flow Pens. A few Crystal Drops were added as embellishment and a bit of twine around the bottom.  I can't wait to give this to someone who needs a little pick me up!

Designer Inspiration ~ Em

Hi everyone,

I colored the image with alcohol markers, before cutting it, the frame and butterflies with some of my favorite dies (details on my blog).

MHKDesigner Inspiration: Jessica

Hello friends!

I am really excited to share with you my March Designer Inspiration! This month we are showcasing a beautiful Easter set called "Blessed Lily"

Here is what I created:




I am still loving all things water color, so that is exactly what I did! I printed off the digital image and used my Close to My Heart & SNS Pearlescent Watercolors to color.  Hints of Nuvo Crystal Drops were added to accent the lily.  A little piece of purple lace peeks out from behind the image to give a feminine touch.

Hello all!

Today is my day to share a little designer inspiration

using this month's New Release Set

"Valentine Roses".

This is a beautiful set that, like most of the products

available in the  MHKDesings Etsy Shop,

can be used for a multitude of occasions.

My card is a simple design but, I think, effective.

I colored the image with alcohol markers and fussy cut.

The sentiment was printed on the white card stock

before I did the embossing. This way I could have it

placed right where I wanted it! I then matted the

panel with the sentiment and embossing with black card stock.

To finish, I popped the fussy cut image with foam tape on the matted panel.

I created my topper panel in GIMP by layering the image and sentiment over the patterned paper.

It's Designer Jessica here today!

It's time to share my first MHKDesigns card for the year! I used the new release "Framed Favorites" to create this card.

Here is the Handmade Card that I created:

I really pushed my creative envelope to create this card. I printed off the digi and watercolored it with Pearlescent Watercolors. I added a TON of accents!  I die cut some vellum shapes, wreaths, circles and glittered shpes and distressed the edges for a "shabby" feel.  I also dug into my stash of paper flowers and went a little floral crazy - but I love how it turned out!  I'm trying to push my talents this year and try styles I don't normally gravitate towards. What do you think?

MHKDesigner Inspiration: Judy

Hello!

It's Judy here sharing a little inspiration with you!

Since it's December and we're into the holiday mode

I created a gift bag using one of my favorite

MHKDesigns sets.

Simply Santa

I love this vintage Santa image and it dresses

up a plain white gift bag perfectly for gift giving.

The tag was created using one of the greetings from the set.

I colored the image with pencils, fussy cut

and adhered with foam tape to a rectangular mat

of designer paper and solid card stock.

Coordinating designer paper was used behind the mat.

I hope I've inspired you 

to create something for the holiday season!
