MHKDesigner Inspiration - Julie

Hello, my stamp happy friends! It's Julie here with you today.   Do you ever have a card that you absolutely love how it turned out?  That's how today's card is for me.  Looking at it makes me smile!   I want to show it to you:

I created this card using the MHKDesigns Beauty Digital Stamp Set.   Aren't those delicate flowers exquisite?

I colored the flower from the MHKDesigns Beauty digital set with color pencils.  The sentiment is also from the MHKDesigns Beauty set. 

Papers for this card, also from MHKDesigns,  are the new Rosy Posy digital paper set.  They are a little touch of Springtime!

Hello, my crafty friends!  It's Julie with you today, and I'm so pleased to be here!

Are you enjoying this month's New Releases?  Aren't they wonderful?!?  I've been having so much fun with them!  Today, I'm sharing a new release that you'll see more of in a couple of days.  The new release is called Lovely Ladies. There are 3 equally Lovely Ladies in the digital set, and 4 great sentiments. 

I adore shaped cards, and make them often.  Here's a shape I haven't made before, but I thought it framed this Lovely Lady well: 

She didn't seem to need any coloring to me at all.  I printed her on colored card stock, then cut her out with an oval die.  Papers for this card are from MHKDesigns Damsel in Distress digital paper pack.  The sentiment is part of the Lovely Ladies set

Designer Inspiration - Julie (Sending Prayers)

Happy Friday!  It's Julie with you today.  It's a pleasure to be here!  It's an even greater pleasure to showcase the Get Well Flowers digital stamp set and papers, created in my honor.

Today, I have a PET scan.  It will hopefully show that, after 3 chemotherapy treatments, my Lymphoma is in remission.  I am praying furtively for that!

This card says it all!

Designer Inspiration: Julie

Hello, Crafty friends!  Julie here! Today, I'm showcasing one of my favorite cards from the past few months on the team.  This is a card I made back in August, and I really like the way it turned out:

I used the MHKDesigns Beginnings & Endings digital stamp set to create this card.  Both the butterfly and the sentiment are from the Beginnings & Endings stamp set.  A couple shades of Tim Holtz distress ink on the butterfly add those pops of color. 

The last challenge of the year is going on at MHKDesigns.  Come join in the fun!  

MHKDesigner Inspiration: Julie

Hello, crafty friends.  Julie from Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers with you today.  As some of you know, I have recently been diagnosed with Lymphoma. I finally saw an oncologist this week.  It has been a whirlwind -- having even more tests, a minor surgical procedure to get a port put in, some training done, and everything ready to begin chemotherapy.  I'm ready!  Let's beat this!  

I made a card to help me through the rough times I'm experiencing.  It was created using one of my favorite Bible verses -- Matthew 18:20...

I used the beautiful MHKDesigns set, Mum's the Word on this card.  

Taking the mum image from the Mum digital stamp set, I colored it with color pencils.  Background papers, also from MHKDesigns, are French Country.  I seem to use these papers often.  They are beautiful for flowers, and I do love to color flowers!

MHK Designers Post: Julie

Happy Sunday, everyone!  Julie here today, wishing you a sunny day!
I love sunflowers.  I think they speak autumn like no other flower.  When I found this digital stamp set in the MHKDesigns Etsy store, I just knew I had to color it up!

This card was created using the Stitched Sunflower Digital Stamp set, colored with Copic markers.  The sentiment is also from the set.
Papers for this card are also from the MHKDesigns Etsy Shop.  They're Autumnal Accents Digital Papers.  Beautiful, aren't they?

MHKDesigner Inspiration: Julie

Happy Wednesday, everyone.  Julie here today, with my first individual post and I'm super excited to be sharing this fun, fun card!

Using the versatile "I've Been Framed" digital stamp set, and the Fabulously Fall digital papers, both from MHKDesigns, of course, I created this:

I used the Tree Frame from the "I've Been Framed" set, and  printed it on one of the Fabulously Fall digital papers.  The 'Trick or Treat!' sentiment is from the MHKDesigns Halloween Party digital stamp set.

The spider web die was cut out and placed on another digital paper from the Fabulously Fall  Digital Paper Collection.

Hi, I'm Katie and a busy wife and mom to three great kids. I am a Middle School tutor, and when we are not chasing kids, you can find me in my craft room.

I started crafting almost 17 years ago with scrap booking.  Since then, my passion has become card making. I've been blogging for almost 10 years and have been on many fun teams and met some amazing new friends.
