Hi, friends! I have some happy news today, and some bittersweet news. First, the bittersweet. This is the last post for the MHKDesigns blog until further notice. I have decided I need to focus my energy on teaching, and I feel bad that I haven't been able to comment and participate in blog land. I hope to be able to return later on, but for now my blogging days are going to have to diminish, if not end all together. THANK YOU to each of you who have supported us here at MHKDesigns! I will still be honoring the sponsor commitments I made for 2018, but starting today, the shop will start to slowly lose items. Witching You a Happy Halloween!

Hello, all! Happy Halloween! It's my first Halloween as a teacher, so I'm not quite sure what will happen, but my goal is to keep it as calm as possible. I'll let you know how that goes. ;) Anyway, today's post is all about Halloween and a digital print I made using digis from the MHKDesigns Etsy Shop!  Take a peek...

This print measures 8" x 10". I used Photoshop to create my gradient background, added some texture with a variety of brushes and styles, then added my sentiment and image, both from the Flight By Night digital stamp set. I just LOVE how versatile digital products are and how quick it is to create something fun and fabulous that you can print and use! Serene Seaside FREEBIE Panel!

Hello, friends! May is about to wrap up, and that means it's time for me to share another FREEBIE panel for you to use in our monthly challenge next month! I chose to use the Serene Seaside digital stamp set and Serene Seaside digital paper pack for this month's freebie. Take a peek...

I printed the panel out twice so that I could fussy cut the seashells and pop them up for added dimension. I then added various pearls and some faux stitching for texture. I would love to hear what you think of my card in the comments below!

Hello, all! It's time for the March freebie panel, and this panel features a favorite set of mine--Realistic Roses!  I decided to color the sentiment purple so that you could use this panel to create something for April's challenge, so make sure to join us! Take a peek at the panel...

I decided to stick with the purple theme and watercolor my roses using ink and gel pen. I added some faux stitching, rhinestones, and striped ribbon as my only embellishments. Here's the completed card...
