MHKDesigner Inspiration: Julie

Fall greetings, fellow crafters, and happy Thanksgiving!  It's Julie with you today from Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers.  Thanksgiving, here in the US, isn't very far away, and I was thinking about the many things I have to be thankful for as I made this card.  A year ago tomorrow, I started chemo treatments.  Now, I am full remission.  Give thanks!!!!

I used the sentiment from the Funky Fall Foliage digital stamp set and made it the focal point of my card.  Papers on this card, also from MHKDesigns, are part of the Autumn Accents Digital Paper Pack.

Happy Sunday, everyone!  Julie here today, wishing you a sunny day!
I love sunflowers.  I think they speak autumn like no other flower.  When I found this digital stamp set in the MHKDesigns Etsy store, I just knew I had to color it up!

This card was created using the Stitched Sunflower Digital Stamp set, colored with Copic markers.  The sentiment is also from the set.
Papers for this card are also from the MHKDesigns Etsy Shop.  They're Autumnal Accents Digital Papers.  Beautiful, aren't they?

MHKDesigner Inspiration: Mynn Kitchen

Hi, friends!  I'm here today to share a fun fold card that uses some awesome products from the MHKDesigns Etsy Shop, and I've also got a video tutorial on how I created this card!  Take a peek at the final product...

This card is called an interlocking gatefold card.  It utilizes dies to create a fun fold that opens in a very unique way!  I chose to use a sentiment from the Lift Me Higher digital stamp set and the image from the Simple Rose digital stamp set for the outside of my card.  The paper is from the Autumnal Accents digital paper pack.

I also chose to decorate the inside of the card.  I used more of the same paper from the Autumnal Accents digital paper pack and another sentiment from the Lift Me Higher digital stamp set to tie it all in together.  

A few pearls and a glittery foam heart were the only embellishments needed for this unique card!  I really like the way this turned out, and I hope you do, as well!  Click HERE to go to my YouTube channel for the video tutorial on how to make your own interlocking gatefold card! :)  I can't wait to hear what you think in the comments below!

MHKDesigner Inspiration: Katie Skiff

Hello friends, it's DT Member, Katie Skiff here today.

 

I really fell in love with this image from the Friendship Digital stamp set.  I thought it was super cute, and thought that I would try to pull some color as if it were an early morning with the sun rising to the bottom right hand side. 
I love orange talby cats and think it being pared with the cow is super cute!!

I added some paper from the Autumnal Accents Paper pack to finish off the card. 

I had already printed off the sentiment from this set, so I trimmed it up and added it inside the card.

Fabulous Butterfly

Hi, friends!  Mynn here, and I'm super excited to be sharing some inspiration with you today that uses some of my favorite products from the MHKDesigns Etsy shop!  I went with a warm color scheme this time around...take a peek...

This beautiful butterfly is from the Butterfly Wisdom set.  I colored it with Spectrum Noir markers and added some Stickles to the center for added shine.

The sentiment is from the Fabulously Fall set.  I printed it on to vellum and then added it to the card by tucking it under and over papers so that the adhesive wouldn't show. ;)

The papers I used come from the Autumnal Accents pack and the Very Distressing pack.  I added some sequins and gold card for added shine and elegance.

I really love how this card turned out, and I hope you do, too! I can't wait to hear your comments about it below--I love hearing your feedback. :)
