Hello Crafty Friends,
Hi everyone! Today I'm sharing a very simple, easy-to-make card using a two digi stamp sets from the MHKDesigns store, Lift Me Higher and the newly released, Fruit Borders set! Here is my card for today, enjoy.

Beautifully rendered scene didn't need anything to distract from its beauty.
It is very serene, calming, and beautiful.
I created a virtual banner by masking the area where the sentiment
lives. Your eye moves to the broken circle and into the saying.
The only color I added was on the sentiment and
an accent border.
The MHKDesigns stamp sets are so amazingly interchangeable. Each set can work independently or with other sets without any conflict. I have used this card modeling how interchangeable sets working together to create a clean and simple card.

The images was imported using computer software. All I did was mask a 'banner' over part of the scene, making sure to break the circle frame; I slipped the sentiment right into the voided space. After the layout was done I simply printed it out and added some matting. I also used foam to pop up a panel for a bit of dimension. Easy-peasy!

There is a lot more to discover at MHKDesigns Etsy Shop! Stop on over and see what we have to offer. I promise you will be inspired as our Design Team was inspired to create such beautiful cards. Keep stopping by to see more inspiration. Until then take care.

All the best,

MHK Designer Inspiration : SathyaSankaran

Hi Crafty Peeps,

Its me Sathya, for this month's DT inspiration using Stitched Sunflower digi stampset with Sunflower sampler papers. Must say, am addicted to this set of digi papers :)

This digi stampset is with such lovely sentiments and a sunflower.

I love chevron pps and by now you would be aware of it too :)
Matted the sentiment using yellow and green chevron pps and matted this on to the brown chevron pp. Wanted the sentiment to be focal point this time.

Colored the sunflowers by Zig clean colorbrush pens and fussy cut it. I love heat embossing and so to make these flower as embellies, I heat embossed those flowers using UTEE clear Ep. At this stage, it just mimics the Sospeso flowers :) Watercolored and fussy cut few leaves and added these with flowers, below the sentiment frame using foam adhesives and completed the card by matting it on to a white A2 cardbase.

Thank you for stopping by!

More inspirations are to follow from my fellow Teamies and Don't forget to visit our MHKDesigns Etsy shop and to grab lovely releases :)

MHK Designer Inspiration - NanaConnie

It's my day to do the Designer Inspiration Post at MHK Designs and I hope everyone gets some kind of inspiration from this delicious card on which I used papers from the "Easter Flowers" digi paper set and an image from Mynn's lovely "Stencil in the Roses" set.  After the fabulous release of five new sets this month, I wanted to use an older set which is one of my 'go to' sets for all kinds of occasions.

Since purple is my favorite color, you could have guessed that would be in use.  :-D

I used a different printing technique than what I usually do and I really like the way it turned out.  I selected my digital paper, printed it and then put that sheet of paper back into the printer tray.  Then I went back, selected the rose image and printed it onto the original sheet of printed paper.

Didn't that make a spectacular silhouette?  I trimmed the paper to size, turned it slightly on an angle, then trimmed off the corners which overlapped the edges of the card.   I added one bit of black lace before mounting everything onto a lavender card front.   I printed the sentiment  ("Tulip of Thanks" set) separately, cut it by hand, and adhered it last.

Don't forget that our new challenge for April/May started last Thursday and you have until May 20th to get a card in.  We have an inspiration photo which you can use (colors, photo, whatever),

or, if you use any MHK Designs image, then the challenge theme for you is "Anything Goes."  Hope we see you playing along.

MKHDesigner Inspiration: Michele

Hi everyone! Today I'm sharing a bright little note card using a new digi stamp from the MHKDesigns store, Stitched Sunflower!

I love using the uplifting sentiments from MHKDesigns along with my favorite die cuts. Since April is National Letter Writing Month,  all of my MHKDesigns projects this month are smaller notecards that will be combined into a set to send to MY favorite letter writer! I know how much they will appreciate the gift.

I started with a bright yellow card base, and added "mosaic" squares cut from watercolor paper that I created in pretty sky blue shades. I added the little flower, and printed the Hans Christian Anderson quote on a stitched tag, with ribbon and sequins. A little foam pop dot makes it jump off the page!

Thank you so much for stopping by today! You can find more inspiration from our talented team of designers all month long!

Simple Rose Digital Stamp Set

Here is what I created:

I just love the simplicity and beauty of this set.  I simply resized my roses in Microsoft Word & added the sentiment.  I printed if off on white cardstock and uses Watercolor Powder to paint them. Simple and to the point, don't you think?
